Question marks in HANA Studion - Data preview

Hi,

We are pulling data using a SQL view.

When previewing the data in HANA studio, dimensions look fine but measures show as '?'instead of values.

Any idea?

Thanks

Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

as you seem to be new to the SAP HANA Community, first off: welcome to the party :)

One of the important customs around here is to 'search before posting a question' so that you can find the already given answers to questions like yours.

Another thing that we like doing here is to 'close' a question once an answer has been given.
Florian provided the right clue, in this case, i.e. HANA Studio renders NULL values as question marks (?), so it's your turn now to click on 'Accept'. That way others can find yet another verified answer to a question and Florian can take another answer given into his account. Easy to see how this is a triple-win situation ;)
Besides, this is the proper way to say 'Thank you for helping out' in this community - simply writing a comment 'thanks...' unfortunately doesn't cut it.

    Cheers,

Do you have null values in your data sources? A question mark represents a null value.

    Regards,
    Florian

That was a security issue. Thank you Florian
