Calculate Result in Rows

In a Bex Query, the function NODIM() has been applied to the Key Figure ZAMOUNT. In the rows I have 0UNIT. I want the Result of ZAMOUNT to show an *, when different 0UNIT are involved.

M2 500,000

RESULT 1.200,000

M 10,000

M3 26.000.000,000

Mariana,

If you don´t use the NoDim() function, the system will automatically return a red "X" in the result row if different unit's key figures are added, multiplied, etc.

Thanks for your reply.

The reason why we use the NoDim() function is that the ZAMOUNT column appears several times in the report, always with the same 0UNIT in a given row.

Mariana,

Try to check "Display scaling factors for key figures" in the Query Properties.

If you do that, the UNIT will go to the column header and you it will be possible to supress the usage of the NoDim() function.
