Error Handling


We are writing the FD for a Interface and i want to know what are the general error handling procedures i need to keep in the FD document.We are trying to load the tabels from exel.

    some thoughts:

    0) if you use batch input or a standard SAP-interface you can use

    the Joblog (e.g. report RFBIKR00)

    1) if you load data per call transaction,

    you get a log from the calling TA, which you can analyse

    2) you can check values against check-tables in your migration-program

    3) you can creat a error file from the records which failed

    and creat a dialog to correct the data
