BEx Broadcaster Encrypt

Hi,

I am using BEX Broadcaster (BW 3.5) to distribute static HTML reports. However I am looking to increase the security of the distribution by encrypting the emails so that neither of the recipients can forward the message.

Since the BEx Broadcaster does not give to many options I wonder if it is possible? An suggestions?

Is the encryption available in BI 7.0 or with the Enterprise Portal?

Hi Tomasz,

The Broadcaster itself does not provide encryption. However, e-mails are sent out using an external SMTP server. Check if your SMTP server provides encryption and see also SAP Note 149926.

I'm studing the possibility to send email signed from SAP and I found note 149926 you mentioned in your post.

Do you know vendors I can contact that provide a Secure Email Proxy?
