Time evaluation only for new hires

Hi,

I have a requirement saying that only for new hires Quota has to generated thr' Time Eval and for old or existing employees through RPTQTA00.

How can we do this?

how can i manage the step->Permit Generation of Quotas in time eval for new hires and Permit Quota generation without Time evaluation for old/existing employees.

    Hi,

    just some food for thought.

    Maybe use separate quota types for those to be updated thru time evaluation as opposed to those that can be keyed directly.

    Categorise your new hires separately on IT0001 from existing employees - new personnel sub area perhaps ? This would allow you to group them separately when it comes to Quota generation rules. If that is not possible you could use a PCR to check hire date and set MODIF Q and thus point your new hires to the appropriate Quota generation rules. However we do not use RPTQTA00 so not familiar with it, but if you do not re categorise you new hires on IT0001 can you stop RPTQTA00 generating quota for them?

    Hi Bren,

    Business can neither have separete quota type nor different PSA's. Probably i should use PCR.
