PO output email to particular email

Hi Gurus,

We already have config in place for the PO message output with NEU type is used and medium is setup as Print Output and with partner function for vendor, The condition record is maintained for the Purchasing doc/porg/vendor once PO is released and the PO is printed with printer assigned.

Requirement:

The PO output needs to be triggered to particular email for one document type only when ever PO is released Via ME28 or ME29N.

Email id can be updated when ever required (like maintain ztable)

Can any one please share information in which you have done this kind of requirement earlier or is there any BADI to implement or code changes which would require to achieve this requirement.

I have already searched the forum but not successful for this requirement

Hi Jurgen,

Yes this is correct, we are not going to send this vendor in existing config and as well as new requirement. Output should be triggered to particular mail only after PO release with me29n or me28. Can you give me more information to achieve this requirement like which partner function has to be used and how email id can updated.

Which partner type can be used here? Please let me know

The message is determined and added to your PO when you create the order, and this message is on hold until someone releases the PO, and then it just goes to the destination which was determined at the very beginning.

If you always need to send this output to a particular email then your condition record (Purchasing doc/porg/vendor) is obviously not matching this requirement as you are not going to send it to your vendor.

Your purchase order would probably need an extra partner role which represents your "particular email" and you need condition records to find this information.
