Status of the Hot Package level?

I have a question about Hot Packages. The recent Hot Package level was 16 (SAPKH45B16) in our Test server. I imported new Hot Packages (SAPKH45B17-24) by mistake. The package SAPKH45B23 ended with return code 8 while the other packages ended with a 4 (warning).

All the queues ended in the phase TEST_IMPORT. The SPAM status became red and the packages are in the list Aborted Support Packages (not in the list Imported Support Packages).

However, the menu choice System / Status says the Hot Package level is SAPKH45B24 but with the Status = "?".

I reset the status of the queue so it is now yellow and the imports were deleted from the buffer.

My question: Is the system unchanged or did the import change the Hot Package level? I would like to get back the Hot Package Level to SAPKH45B16 in the system status. Is it possible to back the failed (?) test import?

Best Regards,

/Timo Karhula

Hi,

Since you reset the queue, during test Import, no Harm to the system, and the changes will not take palce in system.

So you can go ahead with the Hot Package Level to SAPKH45B16 .

OK, thanks. How can I make that the System Status says the Hot Package level is SAPKH45B16 and Status="I" instead of SAPKH45B24 and Status="?".

I get the impression that the Hot Package level is inconsistent until I correct something. An "uninstall" of the latest SPAM-queue would be nice :-).

I think I have solved the problem myself! In transaction SPAM, under the button Display/define [queue] there was a trash-bin symbol which means "delete queue". I deleted the interrupted Hot Package queue which had ended in the phase TEST_IMPORT and after that the Package Level became green and the Status of the Hot Package level is back to SAPKH45B16 and Status="I".

Thanks,

/Timo
