Signatures on Cheques

Hi Guys ,

Can anybody provide some input on the following :

1. Can the signatures be scanned & used for printing on transfer letters & Cheques.

2. Can payment advices be sent by email , I know it can be , but what are the related implications / steps to get it running ?
