cost center and profit center for a G/L account

Hi

Can nyone plss tell me whether a G/L account can have both Cost center and <b>Profit center or it can have just any one of them.

hi,

G/L account has cost centre..and while creating the cost centre we have to assign profit centre to it.

can u plss explain whether a G/L account can have both cost center and profit center n is it mandatory dat a G/L account will have both the cost center and the profit center. n in which table will u find details of all this.

refer tables CSKS,SKB1, T001.

u can find more tables by looking for SK* and CK*

Hello,

Yes, a GL account can have both CC and PC. The tables for them are.

in BSEG you will find KOSTL(Cost Center) and PRCTR(Profit Center). The Master Data and Text table for profit center and cost center are,

Profit Center Master Data: CEPC

Profit Center Text Table: CEPCT

Cost Center Master Data: CSKS

Cost Center Text Table: CSKT
