BOM integration

Hello:

From my understanding PDS= BOM+Routing/ Master receipe

I was wondering if I am integrating PDS into APO, is that enough. Do I still need to bring over the BOM or just PDS integration serve the purpose.

Hai,

There won't be any BOM in APO. All you have is either PPM or PDS. Your BOM is part of PPM/PDS.

Thank you for the reply, I think my way I asked wasnt right. I am trying to create an Integration model for PDS and BOM, do I really need to create and activate a seperate integration model for BOM or just CIFing over PDS is enough.

Hi

the PDS that are generated from R/3 master data contain data from BOM, Routing and Master recipe

You CIF the PDS and not BOM.
