We're using e-Recruiting 6.0 and have an issue with External Candidates not being able to logout of e-Rec. We have many public computers that are used by external candidates to apply for jobs. When one candidate is done and another uses the same computer to logon then the first candidate's data shows up. This doesn't happen if ALL Internet Explorer windows have been closed after the first candidate finishes with the computer. However, if IE remains running after the first candidate then the cookies and buffers aren't cleared.
I'm an HR-guy as opposed to a programmer type -- where can I look to see what cookies are set? Where should my programmers look to add a logout option to the external candidate start page? Has anyone done this?
Thanks,
John
Unfortunately, the session must be closed (close the internet explorer window) and a new explorer window will need to be opened to have it recognize that it needs a new logon.
There does not seems to be any other way to handle that.
