Hi,
I'm trying to load 4 year's data, which is split into 4 Infopackages to the same ODS and then to an Infocube. Can I schedule all infopackages at the same time , or do I have to do it sequentially?
Thanks
Riya
Do it sequentially to avoid locking errors.

Hi
You can load the data at once from the 4 IP's if the target is a Transactional cube.No need to worry about any locks provided the IP's have different selections coz we load data to the targets from more than 4 IP's and from the same data source and we never faced the problems.

Hello,
Load all the 4 years data in parallel. Then run a delta/ full once to the cube from this ODS.
Assign points if it helps

You can schedule the various Infopackages parallely, provided they have different selection conditions. This will improve your load performance. Also make sure Indexes are deleted on the data target before loading.

hi,
if the ods is transactional then it is possible to write simultaneously into ods other wise schedule infopackage at different time.
