account determine KBS 00001 not possible

user trying to do a GR and she got an error" account determine KBS 00001 not possible ", can anyone tell me what could be the problem?

    Hi,

    User is doing a MIGO for a purchase order, which is relevant to account assignment category.

    You have to check PO & check the account assignment category tab. There may be GL or Cost center is missing in PO.

    Pl check this.

    Txn: OBYC

    CHeck the 'Account Detrmin.' column for Transaction KBS. Is it ticked ?

    Hi Nancy,

    If account assignmnet is cost center,system will not allow to save the PO.

    Now you have to maintain Cost center & GL in PO.

    Then try to do GR.It will work.

    In case of internal Order also it should be Automatic account determination.

    If you are using account assignment category F,you have to enter IO & if you are using K you have to enter Cost center.

    In both cases GL should be there.

    Hi Nancy,

    If you have maintained "VBR" for the PO valuation class, you have to put that GL a/c on the PO.
