Timestamp appears correctly in chrome but not in IE

Hi,

A timestamp field appears correctly in Google Chrome and shows the time accurately in our UI5 application however it comes as /DATE(1495112633000+0000)/ in IE. We are using IE11 and unable to interpret where the issue lies.

Any help is highly appreciated.
