Hi experts please help me what Is HR REPORTING STRUCTURE?
please help me.
vamsi.
Hi Vamsi,
In SAP, Reporting Structure (RS) falls under OM.
Once you have defined a company, Differnet Geo's (locations) & Diff. functions / divisions under that, you will create positions & you can create a Reporting structure for these positions.
You can select the function/division created & click on 'goto' & then 'RS'.
Also, you can change RS by Edit --> Elevate --> Within Org.
In non-SAP terms its nothing but your organization Hierarchy, where it clearly defines your Org. structure as to who reports to whom.

hi vamsi
Reporting structure is comes in organizational management when you go to ppom_old tcode select a position there is "Go To" in the menu bar under that you have reporting. Reporting structure is who is reporting to whom and in the relationships it will who is managed by who . and reverse who is subordinate etc here you can easily identify that who superior and who is subordinate and who is the chief of department etc. if you want to do reporting other than department you can use elevate option
Thanks

Hi Vamsi,
Reporting structure is the organized hierarchical structure where the different positions (persons) will have to report to various positions according to your organizational structure.
