    Hi,

    >>Which is better Look up code and why?

    2) code without JCO.

Reason. Do not use Jco directly in your code. Instead use RFC/DB/SOAP lookup API provided. This is the preferred/recommended approach by SAP

Use RFC Look UP . Do not use JCO

    Reason:

In JCO you need to hard code the SAP system details , the User id and password etc. This is not a good design.

From SP14 onwarss you have the RFC LookUP API wherein you can use the RFC adapter as the means to perfrom the look up and this way you do not need to hardcode anything in your mapping.
