BG: saplpd_open_dc failed, msg = 808 SAPLPD:Windows Problem

Hi all,

Yesterday one particular dept's printer got reinstalled.Then all users are getting the error "BG: saplpd_open_dc failed, msg = 808 SAPLPD:Windows Problem".

Then i changed the Host spool access method from "F" to "G" as per below screenshot.

After this setting enabled, users are getting print by clicking print button followed by two screenshots.

My query is that i changed the above settings in SPAD, then the full client will affect the changes,right?
Also one more query, earlier in the print option we were able to specify certain specific pages for printing. Now the option for page selection is disabled. What should i do?
