TX:ck40n command error

Former Member

Hi. When I want to run ck40n in R/3 ,it said a error.( Red alert: Error when updating in MARK_AND_RELEASE,Message no. CKCC 098)

I have checked the message 098 and can't found any questions.

And yesterday I has just run this code and worked good.

I like to use ck40n to run costing run,it's better than ck11n and ck42.

And I have customized some variants for it.

Any suggestion to this error ,Thank you.

Symptom

When you delete a costing run using Transaction CK44, the update terminates (Express document: "Update terminated").

When you display a costing run using Transaction CK40N, the system generates error message CKCC098 "Error when updating in MARK_AND_RELEASE", and the costing run is not displayed.

Additional key words

Cause and prerequisites

This is caused by an inconsistency in Customizing.

When the costing run was being carried out, the costing type in the key of the costing variant was different from that in current Customizing.

The inconsistency was caused by the transfer of another Customizing by transport from another system.

It it now no longer possible, however, to process the incosistent costing data such as the costing run or the cost estimates themselves, that is, display, delete and reorganization transactions do no longer function. The system response is not unique here. Depending on the type of the inconsistency, e.g. whether the costing type does still exist in the system or not, the cost estimate is either 'just' not found, or the inconsistency causes a termination.

Solution

Since this inconsistency was not caused by a program error (see cause and prerequisites), there can only be an individual solution using ABAP.

Thanks.

Yes,I changed one costing type.

And now I have changed the costing type to the original setting.

Then I deleted all the cost estimation with this costing type.

After these ,I changed the costing type to the setting which I needed.

This time ,ck40n running is ok.
