Customize Identity Management / User Administration / User Profile

Hello,

Is it possible to add / remove tabs or properties to the User Profile iView that is also shown within the identity management?

I would like to remove some properties and add other properties. Until now, I just know the possibility with ume.admin.addattrs within the config tool. But I would like to have for instance a birthdayfield with date button in it.

Is that possible just with configuring?

Hi Michael,

No it is not possible by configuration itself.

You have to modify the webdynpro view used for the Identity Management. You need to have NWDS to do it.

Hi Michael,

Create project for the webdynpro DC 'sap.com/tc_secume_wdumeadmin' in NWDS. You will be able to see the webdynpro view. You can add the additional column you want in the view and write the corresponding code in the controller.

Sorry I am pretty new to this ..

I don't have installed a NWDI, does this matter? I have a NWDS installed locally that is connected to my local J2EE Engine.

So, when I create a Project, what type does it have to be? Development Component Project or Webdynpro Project? Are there any configurations that are obligatory to see that umeadmin webdynpro?

Can you please let me know how can I get the umeadmin DC. Which SCA file needs to be imported in NWDI to create a project for this DC?
