SCM/LiveCache NW2004S Install on Solaris 10

We will be installing NW2004S on Solaris 10 servers (SPARC 64bit). My question regards where the (SCM 5.0) LiveCache instance/DB should reside - in a zone or the global zone? SUN recommendations say not to install Oracle in a zone since zones cost I/O performance. But LC runs mainly in memory, so that does not necessarily apply, except for the startup. My concern , if LC is installed in the global zone, there may be issues - i.e. port conflicts with other DBs.
