Allocating a production order to a sales order

Hi all,

we have a requirement to allocate a production order to a sales order WAY before the production order has been received.

Can someone please tell me if this is possible - and if so, how it can be done?

We are on 4.6C and AFS 3.0B

Hi Rob,

What you are talking about is nothing but early allocation in AFS.Please let me know your email id, i can send you a document which talks about the configuration needed for the early allocation in ARun.

Hi Rob;

I don't think that this is possible in std SAP.

What can be done is instead of creating a Prod. Order we can create a Planned order and then convert the same to a Prod. Order.
