Hi there,

Another question regarding message split.

As my source message is one header and 5 Details and my target is Idoc.

How the message split can be done?

I am thinking to send 5 different Idocs from one source message , if this is the case then how the message split is done?

Or If I am wrong let me know.

Your input is more appreciated.

Ann,

your Details item which occures 5 items will mapped say E1EDP1 1..5segement of IDOC which means that E1EDP1 is going to Occur 5 times

so you map Item to E1EDP1 .

so each occurence of item correspoding segement in IDOC is created .

Yes it is possible to do it but

As explained above you have to collect all inbound idocs into idoc package and send to target r3.

Hi Ann

If the target field for details tagin the occurence is 0..unbounded too, its reproduce the n details nodes that you have in the source message.

Hi Ann,

It depends on how do u want the idoc structure to be filled up and also the way u will send the idocs i.e. one at a time or all idocs at the same time.

Hi Ans,

If the Details node is occuring 5 times it does not mean that it should send five different idocs.it means that you generate 5 different values of Details node..

If at all you want to send to 5 idocs you should have five receiver determinaitons.

This can be done.

You will need something called as IDOC PACKAGING.
