Not able to launch IC Web Client

Former Member

Hi,

While trying to invoke IC Web Client we are getting an authorization error, and most of the post install checks are working fine except the one that refers to check the scripting runtime. While executing the URL:

http://server:port/ICSERVER/scriptingruntime/jsp/ we are getting error 403 Forbidden which states that you are not authorized to view the contents of this directory.

Has someone faced the issue earlier, is it related to CRM authorizations for the user or does it mean some UNIX level authorizations are missing for this directory.

Would appreciate any pointers / help in this area

Thanks,

Piyush

Hi Piyush,

Not so sure whether could do help or not.

For J2EE 640 by default, the directory listing is OFF, you might check note 813591 for reference.

And another possible reason for the problem is due to some bsp application service not activated in sicf. You might have to activate them.

Hi Honyang,

Thanks for your reply..

We were able to set the directory listing as active, but we are still not able to run the IC webclient application. While executing the application, we are still getting the communication_error (SAP 500 Internal error).

When I try to debug this, the application errors out while trying to launch/create http_service.

Any pointers / thoughts??

Thanks

Piyush
