Wrong translation

Hi Guru,s

Struck in a problem.When we loaded the assets we used some wrong translation rate.Therefore INR values were right but USD was worng.Now i want to rectify the USD values without touching the INR.Can somebody tell me how to do it.

Hi,

Have a look in customizing: Asset Data Transfer /Parameters for Data Transfer /Date Specifications / Specify Transfer Date/Last Closed Fiscal Year

When you change the date you can change the values on that date.

Don't forget to test this and do a test fiscal year change. There is always a risk when you change existing values that you get problems.

Hi,

first deactivate the reconcilation account and then do the change so it will be done. just try this in quality and do it in production.

Check the following

Valuation> Depreciation Areas> Specify Transfer of APC Values - Identical not set.

Asset Data Transfer> Parameters.... >Options> Transfer Foreign Currency Areas - Ensure that the area is set to manual.

I need to change the values of Dep area which is not real time.It is not allowing me to do that.
