Since this morning CR2011 developer no longer works on my machine. This is probably due to a MS update I guess.
Just wondered if any other users are experiencing problems or have the same issue and have a resolution.
I have tried re-installing the product to no avail.
Any help would be gratefully received

Could be Windows firewall. Check the list of blocked applications:

Other firewalls just Google how to unblock application.
If it does not help, then use Process Monitor utility to see what is going on with crw32.exe
