Hi,

Go to SPRO - Materials Management – Purchasing - Purchase Order - Define Screen Layout at Document Level

In field selection of purchase order, you can select value field for display only.

can we do this to the specific users

Hi Chandra,

You can block the PO from price changes by restricting the users through authorisation. This will avoid others from changing the Price. Or else u need to set release strategy as mentioned by Biswajit and set the indicator in such a way that no changes is possible. We cant set the field selection for specific users. It will applied to all.

Hi Chandra

I agree with Anand.

You can create new user roles by copying from existing purchaser roles to control prices.

For example, you purchaser role is 'ZPURCHASER'

Copy it and create a new role ZPURCHASER_NOprice

In Authorizations for auth objects starting with M_BEST (M_BEST_EKO, M_BEST_EKG etc), remove activity '09 Display Prices' and '04 Print/Edit messages'.

activity 09 decides the display of prices to a user.

Hi Chandra,

Get help from your basis team. Then provide the tcode for which u need the restriction. Give the user list who can change and whom u dont want to change. Then they will set the authorisation accordingly

Hope this helps

Hi Ramakrishna,

Thanks for the reply

We have tried doing this. However, the net price is still available for change.

Any other suggestions

thanks in advance

Hi Chandra

It is not possible. There must be some other role/profile from where user must be getting autorizations.

Txn: SUIM ; This transaction is very good to get a report of users & authorizations. Findout whether user has authorization for the authorization object which you are trying to restrict.

Hi,

If you are using release strategy for PO, you can block to change the PO price by using release indicator 1 in release strategy.

The business is not planning to set release strategy for the PO. Thats why we want to give them access only for the quantity field in the PO but not the Price (this is for maintianing the controls)

Hi

Try this:

Make the Price field as Display field in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Screen Layout at Doc Level for the Field Sel AKTV.

Hope this solves.

Thanks

Hi Prabhakar,

Will you please let me know the selection group and the field group for this particular functionality.

I had tried under the selection group of quantity and price with the field Price and price unit.

But still in ME22N i am able to change the base price under conditions tab.

Pl suggest.

Dear,

Blocking Po Price Chnages Means once the Output is generated then No body should be able to change the Price ,Am I right??

Then u can Configure it in Release Strategy.

If this is ur scenerio then Make the Changebility Indicator 1.

Biswajit
