J2EE Agent setup, restart necessary?

Hello,

We have already installed SAP Solution Manager 4.0 and will setup the J2EE option for the Enterprise Portal. Can you tell me how many times we need to restart the J2EE Engine? Or, if we need to restart the whole Portal ?
