How to create the CAF core application with out using NWDS

Hi

I am novice to the CAF, I am trying to creating the first application in NWDS asking license key , don’t have any license key how can I get it?

I’m Using NW2004s , is there any way to develop the CAF core application without using NWDS

Is it possible to develop the CAF core application by using http://EPSERVER:port/caf/default

If it, how can I develop? Help out me.

Hi,

You really need developer studio to create CAF core applications. If you install the latest version of developer studio you don't need to have a license key.

This means you have developer studio for NW2004 SP9. You should have NW2004s > SP7 which corresponds to 7.0.07.

Try installing the latest developer studio, which works fine for me.

Which version of NWDS 2004s you are using? It is not possible to develop the CAF core application without NWDS.

Actually can you tell me what exactly you want to do with CAF core. You might also be looking for using Guided Procedure.
