Controlling the number of windows in portal

Hi All,

I have created a URL iView to the CRM ICWC , which has to be open in new window .

I have set the "Launch in new window option" to "New Window" .

SSO is being configured for authentication.

Now every time user clicks on the iView it opens in a new window but customer wants , if user already has an active window for CRM ICWC it should not open a new window .

Is it possible ? Can anybody help me regarding this ?
