STS: Displaying Fund center Key values, not just text

Hello Experts,

We use Fund Center hierarchy for our subplans in STS. We also use IBU Public Sector Funds Center for Name resolve on that hierarchy.

When hierarchy nodes are being displayed either within STS Customizing -> Display Date, Person responsible, etc. or within BSP application, we can only see Fund Center Name/text and not the key value for it. This is very inconvenient. We have many fund centers that have very similar name, which are a lot easier to spot if the key value is displayed along the text/name.

Has anybody found anyway to enable key value display as well? Is it a simple setting that can be turned on, or does it involve code modification/enhancement?

Simplest way is to add keys to texts, for example "102: Fund center 1"

Other ways require enhancement/modifications of STS code.

How do you go about enhancement to STS? It would too cumbersome for us to manually change the texts to add the key there.

To modify code in SE80 to add keys to text descriptions.

Why manually ? Simply add this concatenation in transfer rules for infoobjects texts and all will be done automatically during upload

Not "and", "or"
