Hi Everyone,

I am having a little problem trying to load Header and Items data to SAP using BODS via an RFC function and am hoping someone here can provide some insights into the issue.

This is what my data looks like before calling the RFC:

LOCATION ACTIVITY_DATE REPORT_LABEL REPORT_AMOUNT

000203000 12017.04.10 ARBALC 83062.16

000203000 12017.04.10 ARCRNT 40796.75

000203000 12017.04.10 ARC30 5043.05

The requirement is one Accounting Document with multiple Report Labels per location. So, based on location above, I am expecting 1 document to be created.Something like this:

DOCUMENT

1000045888

ACTIVITY_DATE REPORT_LABEL REPORT_AMOUNT

2017.04.10 ARBALC 83062.16

2017.04.10 ARCRNT 40796.75

2017.04.10 ARC30 5043.05

However, this is the results I am getting back:

DOCUMENT 1

1000045888

ACTIVITY_DATE REPORT_LABEL REPORT_AMOUNT

2017.04.10 ARBALC 83062.16

2017.04.10 ARCRNT 40796.75

2017.04.10 ARC30 5043.05

DOCUMENT 2

1000045889

ACTIVITY_DATE REPORT_LABEL REPORT_AMOUNT

2017.04.10 ARBALC 83062.16

2017.04.10 ARCRNT 40796.75

2017.04.10 ARC30 5043.05

DOCUMENT 3

1000045890

ACTIVITY_DATE REPORT_LABEL REPORT_AMOUNT

2017.04.10 ARBALC 83062.16

2017.04.10 ARCRNT 40796.75

2017.04.10 ARC30 5043.05

It looks like the function is creating 1 document per set of Report Label, as you can see above document number is different but Report Labels/Values are the same. In this dataset, I have 3 Report Labels so 3 documents are created. If I have 100 Report Labels, then 100 documents will get create.

Was this cause by the way I am calling the RFC function in DS? Currently I make one call to the function, there is no looping and all data (header/items) are sent together. Should I send Header data first then items data after? Is there a way to correct this?

Any inputs are greatly appreciated, thank you.
