Will Removing the domain change the hardware key?

Hello all,

Would removing a pc from the domain change the hardware key?

The following actions will change the Hardware Key:

1. Formatting the machine and reinstalling Windows.

2. When changing the computer name.

3. When changing the domain (it will not change back when returning to the previous domain).

As option 3 mentions changing, I would like to know about removing the domain, would it change the hardware key?

Refer to SAP Note 793649 which describes in which cases Hardware Key gets changed.

Remember, when you change the domain (it will not change back when returning to the previous domain). Refer to SAP Note 793649 for the same.
