Hello , I have a quick question about BPC 10.1 import from infoprovider. package. I got the following message:

No.1. Round

Reject Count: 0

Record Count: 48416

Skip Count: 96352

Accept Count: 192

What I am trying to figure out is how can skip count be higher than record count? Please advise. thanks.

This can happen in case you have used as an example *MVAL where in one record in source will be used to create multiple records in BPC.

Example - A flat file load wherein you have 12 months of time dimension in columns (say column 10 through 21) and in your transformation you have - TIME=*MVAL(10:21). So, each of your record in flat file translates to 12 records in BPC.

If for any reason 1 such record gets rejected, BPC will show reject count as 12.

Look at your transformation file and you will know the reason.

Just to add to Ashish: when you ask question about DM with transformation file you have to post at least the transformation file!
