I'm trying to install Crystal Reports 2016 on a Win7 64 bit machine. I keep getting a Failed WIndows Version error. Antivirus SW shut off, Windows Firewall shut off, previous version of Crystal Reportsd XI uninstalled. Very frustrated. Any suggestions?
If not, I'm going to request a refund and reinstall Crystal XI.
I found the problem. The CR setup executable (setup.exe) as downloaded had its Windows compatibility mode set to Windows Vista. Odd to me that SAP would elect to ship the product as such. I modified this setting to Win 7 (SP3) and re-ran. CR 2016 is now installed and running
