B1i Message Log empty

Hello All:

We just install a B1i installation in a new server with SBO 9.2 PL07. We migrated the production scenario to new system and start operation. Integration is working and generating transaction, however for some reason it is not generating any message Log in the monitor.

More concerning IFSERV database's MSGLOG table is also completely empty. So it not the datetime format or any filtering. message log table doesn't have anything.

I have set in MAINTENANCE->cfg Dev Env ->Activate Scenario with Detail Logging -> (02) complete log

Have made sure the xcellerator.cfg monitor level all set to CONFIG.

Have made sure the scenario Step "Exclude MSG" is unchecked.

Any suggestions? Again B1i is working it is just not logging.

Hi Bo,

I have faced the same issue on several systems. The only thing I can recommend - do repair for the installation. Go to the control panel (or via Start menu), and select Change. After that select Repain for B1IF installation. It will renew everything related to the B1if. Sometimes it helps.

Otherwise, it is possible to use Process Control - it can provide nearly the same information.

I have exactly the same issue with B1if, it is not showing the message logs anymore. Did you already found a solution??

Hi Bo,

It sounds like you know what you're doing, I just want to be sure. Have you restarted B1if after making all of the changes?

The other possible thing I can think of is the simplified call. For web service calls coming in, Turning on simplified calls will prevent message log entries for a scenario.
