Is it possible to create a BOM in SAP with a past creation date?

I would like to create Service Parts BOMs based off of our production BOMs. I would like to be able to apply all changes made to the production BOM to the corresponding service BOM by serial number. To apply the changes made in the past, I must create the Service BOM with a past creation date. Is it possible to create a BOM in SAP with a past creation date?

Hi Jeff,

Pl try Valid from date to be in Past in the initial screen of BOM creattion.
