How to use a combo box to filter a unx query

I am using Business Objects Dashboards 4.1 SP 7. I know that the query prompt selector is supported in HTML 5. So I am attempting to use a combo box to filter the query. I do not know what I am missing. I have a prompt for the UNX query (I have tried a local one and a universe prompt). I can get the query prompt selector to work as a filter, but I need to be able to use a combo box to make this dashboard mobile compatible. When I set up the combo box. The destination will show that there is a prompt available for that query, but I cannot select it (greyed out). I can put the destination on the Excel spreadsheet, but cannot find a way to have the query select those values (under prompts for the query, the Selected Values is greyed out).

Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated.

Hi Kevin,

I hope I understand your query correctly.

Have you set the refresh option to trigger based on the destination cell.
So that whenever the value in the destination cell changes the query will be refreshed. Only selection from combo box and getting it to destination cell is not enough.

Hope this helps!
