Integrating SAP TM 9.3 and ALK PC Miler (Cloud version)

We want to use ALK PC Miler for Geocoding and DDD in our TM 9.3 system (SP04) but we are having some trouble getting the interface set up for Geocoding.

We have reviewed the Cookbook and White paper documents available via note 1685381 as well as other SAP Help text and recent OSS messages in the GIS arena (TM-MD-TN).

The Cookbook document is a great start. The White paper document provided details about how the 3rd party WSDL can be consumed in SAP TM and implement using the Class bundles for connector, casting message to Geocode class and assign this custom program in process controller.

We envision a synchronous outbound interface requesting Geo Coordinates (Lat & Long) using the Geocode request message from SAP TM 9.3 to 3rd Party GIS (ALK PC*Miler Web Service) via SAP Process Orchestration 7.5 interface. SAP PO established connection with PC*Miler Web Service by consuming PC*Miler WSDL and successfully sending request message and receiving response message.

The problem: Now we are struck at implementing the client proxy in SAP TM system and how the 3rd party custom program can be configured in SAP TM Process Controller. We are certainly familiar with the Process Controller “parts & pieces” but we are not sure how to put them together with our custom code. In short: we need some help on how to implement ABAP code to cast the SAP PO message to GeoCode Class, and configure Process controller for IGS or best practice approach for configuration.

Any words of advice?
