cmod code for a variable to display only the previous day data based on "Date To" input?

Example:

I have a query which has the mandatory input variables as "date from & date to" and the output is displayed based on these date inputs.

Now as per the client requirement, I need to create a variable with customer exit such as it should display the "Date to - 1" data.

Also let me know if this can be achieved without the cmod code.
