Inconsistent application ORPHANED <> NEW_DS for PSA 0MATERIAL_ATTR_DB

Hi ,

The transfer structre and transfer rules are fine in development and in production. Only in our quality environment , both are corrupted. I have transported only generated datasource fro ERP dev to ERpQ and replicated. I have transported rules and structure again from BI dev. Still transfers tructure is inactive. Did RSRV for PSA table. Finally deleted transfer structure and try to recreate it in QW1 directly. When I try to activate the system gave the following error 'Inconsistent application ORPHANED <> NEW_DS for PSA 0MATERIAL_ATTR_DB'. Even transports also giving return code 8 with the above error. Is this another example of 2004S magic?

Somehow the PSA table was deleted. We have replicated the datasource , In se14 again created the table , in RSDS did the recovery of the datasource ( Someone tried to convert it to 2004S earlier ). Then it worked.

I have the exact same problem with another DataSource and Transfer Structure.

Earlier, I migrated the DataSource myself. Meanwhile I had to delete it and rereplicate it in order to model an old fashioned data flow. It works fine in the development system, but the transport to QA fails with the mentioned error desciption.

Can you tell me what table exactly I have to create in se14? And how do I recover the DataSource in RSDS?

No Chetan . I am working with 0MATERIAL in 2004S which is a 3.X version.

Thanks for the reply Chetan. I tried both the options Chetan. Transport failed with the same error. Program execution also failed with the same error. Searched for OSS notes. Nothing found.The error message number is RSAODS250.

are you working with the transfer structureof ODS??

If yes you may wish to check the oss below..

As per your draft it seems you are using NW2004s 3.x datasource/Data flow.

Do not delete the transfer structure from QA directly..

Re-transport the transfer structure/infosource again with data flow before option.

If the transfer structure in inactive use se38-->RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL to activate the inactive transfer structure...

Error message shows something related to NEW datasouce..

did u replicate in QA datasources as NEW or 3.x??
