Stand Alone J2EE engine on Windows installation

Hello,

I want to install the J2EE engine stand alone on a Windows 2003 Server system to work with WebSAPconsole (IIS 6.0 has issues per SAP Note 910901).

All references I find mention a J2EE dialog instance from a WAS 6.40 system. I do NOT want to do this. All of our WAS systems are AIX based.

I have downloaded the NW04 J2EE CD's for Windows/Intel and NW04 Installation Master CD for Windows. Here are my questions:

1) When I start SAPinst from the NW04 Installation master CD, I cannot find a stand alone installation, all choices are either Java WAS system or Java add-on.

2) Can J2EE engine be installed without a DB installation?

3) Cannot find an installation guide for a stand alone J2EE engine installation.

Thanks in advance!

Alan
