Execute a WebService via Visual Composer (complex structure / Table)

Hi everybody,

... I want to use the Visual Composer to create a UI for a WebService. The WebService should have a Response with simple attributes (String) and a Response with complex attributes (structure / list). The complex response should be like a table. For example: Month / Quantity / NetValue.

Right now, I am not able to create a table with all attributes. One the one site, I am able to create (via the WebService) three different list outputs, which are not able to combine (via Visual Composer). Or on the other site, I create (via the WebService) a response like a table, but if I execute the service (via Visual Composer) I get no data for this output.

Is the problem on site of the webservice, the visual composers, or ....?

Kind regards

Stefan

      Hi Stefan,

I read this thread and that you didn't get an output of your webservice in Visual Composer. Another devloper of my company asked me yesterday a similar question. They also had built a webservice. The webservice works correct, but in VC the webservice returns only 3 results instead of 15 results, which would be correct. I advised him that he should check, if the input parameters are passed correct from VC to the webserivce. This is the first thing what I check, when an error occurs. This was the error. During the debugging he noticed that a float value are passed not correctly. This is a typically error of VC. There are so many bugs known with the data types and data formats as well.

If you had a similar error you can passes the input values as string and cast them in the webservice. This is a trypically workaorund for a issue like that.

      I hope that helps.

      Best Regards,

      Marcel
