Please explain the concept of the After image and before image wrt to Generic extraction.
Hi Vasu,
After Image and Before image conceptually not differs with respect to type of extraction. Normally Generic Extraction would be based on timestamp or 0calday or numeric pointer.
After image: Value after changes (after 0calday value would be).
Before Image: Value before change has happend (Before 0calday value was)

1 tiles 20(before image)
1 tiles +58(additive image) for additive image.

The concept of before image and after image is more relevant in the context of a write process, say a data load.
