EHSM Vs EHS On S/4 Hana

Former Member

Dear Experts,

I am comparatively new to EHS. Still working on ECC EHS.

In order to grow on my career path, I am keen to learn EHSM. As I understand, current version of EHSM is 6.0.

As I know, now EH&S is also available on S/4 Hana so few queries hitting to my mind,

- like EHSM , is S/4 Hana also based on NWBC?

- will S/4 Hana make EHSM outdated? or both will continue? or both will get integrated?

- is there any link which will provide me more information about EH&S on S/4Hana?

Thanking You,

Regards,

Ravi

Dear Ravi

answers to your questions are as (very high level; to make it simple)

like EHSM , is S/4 Hana also based on NWBC? ==> according to current knowledge (in the "non compatibility mode): Answer is no. If you use S/4 HANA in compatibility mode: There is EHS (but some functions are not supported any more)

- will S/4 Hana make EHSM outdated? or both will continue? or both will get integrated? =>> yes. with S/4 HANA (in non compatibility mode) you can not compare EHSM with the software you get with SAP ERP; a "complete" new software will be there

- is there any link which will provide me more information about EH&S on S/4Hana? ==> check SAP marketplace or get in touch with SAP; If you would be "up to date" for S/4 HANA EHS related topics you must join SAP meetings (e.g. refer to the many announcements here)

Dear Ravi

one topic is missed to explain: on S/4 HANA EHS is in "compatibility mode" (according to my understanding). So most of EHS/EHSM stuff exist. But some other stuff is according to my understanding still deleted.

Check may be: https://blogs.sap.com/2016/10/29/s4-hana-current-status/

BUt you will find other blogs and threads as well

For details on S/4 HANA and "EHS" (which is not called EHS anymore): please check SAP Marketplace
