hierarchy ID displayed as default value of a variable in bex query

Hi,

in our system , a authorization variable have been defined for a bex query. there is no default value defined for this variable, but when run this bex query, in the initial screen , the hierarchy ID (such as :I3RNPGFY9L0WY4XC7V4N2AY1K) is displayed as the value for this authorization variable. capture.jpg, I expect blank for this variable in initial screen, please tell why and how to get rid of this hierarchy ID display for this variable when running this bex query.

Hi,

normally you do not set this kind of variables as input ready, because that doesn't make sense. The value retrieved corresponds of the value you are allowed to see.
