Steps to create Process Chain in Version 2004S SAP NetWeaver

Hi,

I have created a process chain in 3.5 version.Now i want to create a process chain in 2004s version.so what should be the steps to create this process chain.

there is no difference between 3.5 process chain and 2004s process chain. you can create process chain as like in 3.5

Hi

1. Goto RSPC

2.By using create icon create process chain.

3.Now it will ask for process variant. Either assign already made or create new on.

4. Now save it.

5.Refresh the tree and u will find ur Procees chain in the list.

I don't want to make same process chain in this version 2004s.But i want to use DTP in new process chain.So what would be steps to add DTP info package in this process chain.

after creating start process for your process chain you can find your data target from left side window. you darg and drop that to the process chain window. it will ask you what are the processess you want to drag. in your case it will ask dtp,info package and index. you can select from that window by checking the corresponding check boxes. you need to select from the list of dtp and info packsge from the list
