All,
I have configured the release codes for release procedure based on the requirement.
Now I want to check as in a real scenario.
1. How I can assign this release codes to the user name ?
2. Truly whose work is this , MM or BASIS?
Please advise.

You have to follow the below step.I have forwarded detail screen shots at your mail id sandeep.tcs@csplc.com
Go to T.code SU01 Enter user id got to tab role double click on role- now new screen will open click on authorization tab click on display authorization data Now control F & find the object M_EINK_FRG.

Once release strategy is configured u need to assign the relavant release group and codes to the concerned user in the authorisation in the object M_EINK_FRG .This will facilitate taking up release of the appropriate purchasing documents by the users.

If you are not using work flow you can ask to BASIS consultant to assign release code in user profile.Object name for release code is M_EINK_FRG .
Now user can excess PR/PO for only assigned release code in his user profile.

In the case of a release procedure linked to workflow, you must have
previously created the user names, positions, jobs, etc. that you here
assign to the release code in the organizational plan and must have
linked them to the relevant standard tasks in task-specific
Customizing (Basis -> Business Management -> Business Workflow ->
Perform Task-Specific Customizing).
You must assign the authorization M_EINK_FRG to the persons who are to
be involved in the release procedure (Authorization Management ->
Create Authorization Profiles and Assign to Users).
2. Truly whose work is this , MM or BASIS?
IF no HR implemented then it's basis job or else HR consultant
