Finish Product is Slab. Which have length range (500 to 1000) & Thickness range. (2 to 100) for finished product i.e. slab only one material master code was maintain.
While making sales order length & thickness is mention in sales order text.
Semi finished material also has one material master code. For all length & thickness range.
Requirement is that while mrp run. Separate planned order for semi finished material.as per actual length & thickness.
For example. One Sales order of finish product slab length 600& thickness 10.
Second sales order of slab length 700 & thickness 20.
While mrp run separate planned order for semifinshed material.
Hi Mangesh,
use classification systemin material master to define size of product...
and while creating sales order use them for product specefication....
V.C. Process will be most suitable for this scenario...

Hi Mangesh
Give a Customer specific material in "Customer Info record" TC VD51, for your product. Seperate CSMat for separate customer, and see whether works.
If not then VC may be the other option.

Hi Mangesh,
If you could explain the real product scenario, the group may be able to help you out.
I your requirement should get covered by using Batch classification or materail classification.
