The J2EE_ADMIN is keep getting locked

Hello,

The J2EE_ADMIN is keep getting locked for some reason.

I unlock it and after a while it is locked again.

No one is trying to login with it so it can't be locked due to multiple wrong logins.

What can be the reason for that?

Can you pls share the solution here. We are facing the same problem. The j2ee_admin user is getting locked frequently.

Hi,

Open Visual Administrator in Cluster> Server>Services-->Security Provider

Go to Runtime - tab and then User Management. Search for the user "J2EE_Admin" and double click on the user name to get the user management property sheet. There you can find "No password change required". If it is not checked, please check that one. Then that password wont expire for every deployment.

Can you say in detail, where to open up the Visual Administrator?? Its through SAP EP or thru other way??

Hi Vijay,

the visual administrator is at the os level.

Start it at X:\usr\sap\SID\JCxx\j2ee\admin\go.bat

Hi Roy,

Do you have WAS Abap+ Java stack installed?

Maybe the account locked on the R/3 side. Pls try looking into the trace file
