In ALV report.The user wants to hide specfic fields but the user must be able to add these fields to the report:

can any one give the suggestions

In the fieldcatalog mark the HIDE field equal to 'X".

ex: wa_fldcat = 'X'.

in reuse alv list display or grid

i_save = 'A'.

now user can choose the layout.

for hiding

in fieldcat

wfieldcat-No_out = 'X'.

Hi Azeez,

Just make the fielcatalog setting for that field as 'X' for no_out.

x_fieldcat-no_out = 'X'. for that particular column.
